The pandemic has had a significant impact on all spheres of our life, especially on the way we work. Most of us have switched to home offices, and instead of real-life office meetings, we started using video conferences on Zoom, Skype and other platforms. This is how the need for professional Zoom backgrounds was born. Here are the main benefits of having a branded background on your online meetings:
Conceal your personal space. Let’s be honest - if you want to look professional, having a messy room in the background is not the way to go. Leave your private space to yourself, and use an office background to add a touch of professionalism to your video conference.
Increase brand recognition. Having a professional Zoom background is a perfect way to show your brand identity, and build a connection with webinar participants.
Create a stunning visual presence. Make your video calls more diverse and exciting with the help of branded Zoom backgrounds. Believe us - life will feel a bit more normal when all your meeting participants have an office background during the call.
Yes. We would recommend making sure that your lighting is bright enough to create a contrast between you and the background. Also, it is advised to remain stationary all throughout the meeting to avoid any odd halo-effects. Don’t forget to set up your meeting in the space where there is nobody walking behind you - even moving shadows can create virtual noise in your office background.
Both Skype and Zoom allow you to have video conferences online when working from home, yet there are some differences between the two. Skype can support up to 50 participants, while Zoom can accommodate up to 1,000 participants. Both platforms have easy-to-use apps that can be installed on any device, and one can join the meeting without even having an account. As for the pricing, Skype is free to use for any Skype-to-Skype communications, while Zoom’s basic plan allows only 100 participants with a 40 minute meeting limit. In order to have unlimited time meetings and up to 1,000 participants, one needs to upgrade to a paid plan that costs from $15 to $110 per host per month. Therefore, analyze your needs, and choose the platform that works best for your business.
